Health Center is the beneficiary of the Saint
John’s Santa Monica 5000 5k and 10k Race.
With over 30,000 patient visits each year, Saint
John’s 24-hour Emergency Department provides life saving services
to our community each and every day. In addition to providing comprehensive
emergency care, the Saint John’s Emergency Department features
a Fast Track program to efficiently treat life’s minor bumps
and bruises – Faster In, Faster Out!
Saint John’s is rebuilding its entire
Health Campus. Your participation in the Saint
John’s Santa Monica 5000 will help us complete the
new Saint John’s Emergency Department – so we can be
here for you when you need us most.

City Cable, the Jewish Journal of Los Angeles and Tidings, Saint
Joint physicians volunteer their time to share medical information
with the community each week. The award winning Saint John’s
Magazine is the product of an exciting collaboration between
the Health Center, Saint John’s Health Center Foundation and
acclaimed Los Angeles Magazine.
Saint John’s health outreach programs
touch the lives of a broad spectrum of underserved families throughout
greater Los Angeles. The Health Center is proud to partner with
the Venice Family Clinic, St. Joseph’s Center, Ocean Park
Community Center, Westside Health Coalition, WISE Senior Services/Center
for Healthy Aging, Saint John’s Child and Family Development
Center, Westside Shelter and Hunger Coalition, Westside Mental Health
Network, Westside Domestic Violence Network, Westside Family Health
Center, Santa Monica Child Care Task Force, Lifelong Learning Community
Partnership, the Serra Project, the Flora L. Thornton Community
Health Education Program, the Interfaith Initiative for Wellness,
Senior TLC (Teaching Lifestyle Changes) and Santa Monica/Malibu
Unified School District, to name a few.
Over 250 Saint John's volunteers support Saint
John’s mission by lending their time and talent in 45 departments
throughout the Health Center. Innovative programs such as “Angels
in the ER” and “Pawsitive Pet Therapy Program,”
help reduce the stress and bring comfort to patients and their families
while visiting the Health Center.
With the help of many wonderful friends, Saint
John’s is rebuilding the entire Health Campus. The planned
Women’s Health Services Unit in the Howard Keck Diagnostic
and Treatment Center, now under construction, will create a unique,
patient oriented venue to care for women at all stages of their
lives. Additions to the Irene Dunne Guild NICU in the Maria
Shriver Nursery will support Saint John’s renowned labor and
delivery services. The Health Center is also constructing additional
inpatient rooms, surgery suites, CathLabs, diagnostic, imaging and
clinical services and enhancing emergency services to meet future
needs of the community.
